MESSAGING Guidelines
To help us keep communication clear and efficient:

Select the Patient Coordinator when using our secure PHR messaging system for all questions.
 - 
Billing or lab testing questions will be directed to the correct team member. Time-sensitive questions should be handled by calling the office.
 - 
Clinical questions will be forwarded to your naturopathic provider.
 - 
Our Patient Coordinator will answer general questions.
 - 
Please allow 1–3 business days for a response.
 - 
You may send up to 6 messages between visits. (Even short replies like “thank you” or “received” count toward this total.)
 - 
If you’ve reached your message limit or have an urgent concern, please call us at 717-494-4500 to schedule a 20-minute phone consultation or your next appointment.

We have a unique scheduling system designed to ensure you receive the appropriate timeframe for your needs.
To schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments, please call the office directly.

Follow-ups and cancellations cannot be handled through the portal.
 - 
This ensures accuracy and allows us to book the correct appointment type and length.

APPOINTMENT Reminders
You will now receive multiple reminders before each appointment:
- 
Voicemail reminder: sent 7 days prior
 - 
Email reminder: sent 4 days prior (if virtual, this email will include your appointment link)
 - 
Text reminder: sent 3 days prior
 
These reminders are designed to keep you on track and prepared for your visit.
We require a 24-HOUR NOTICE OF CANCELLATION.
A fee of half the cost of the initial visit, or the full cost of a follow-up visit, will be charged to your credit card for all no-shows and cancellations less than 24 hours before the appointment.

SUPPLEMENT Refills
You may request refills through your PHR (counts toward your 6-message limit). To avoid back-and-forth messaging, please include all details in a single message:
- 
Supplement name, brand, and pill count (or specify powder/liquid)
 - 
Pickup or delivery preference (orders under $75 ship for $8.75)
 - 
Confirmation that we may charge your card on file
 - 
Your shipping address (if delivery is requested)
 
For convenience, many patients find it easier to call our office to place supplement orders. Please have the above information ready when you call.
